Kubernetes Community Days Helsinki 2026

KCD Helsinki

May 20, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (UTC)

In-person event

Kubernetes Community Days is returning to Helsinki!

On May 20th, 2026, the Kubernetes and Cloud Native Community will gather in Helsinki for an exciting one-day, in-person technical conference celebrating the cloud-native ecosystem. Organized by local Cloud Native Finland ry non-profit, this non-profit community event is your chance to connect, learn, and collaborate with like-minded professionals.

KCD Helsinki will bring together hundreds of engineers, IT professionals, architects, and cloud-native stakeholders from Finland and beyond. Expect engaging technical talks, open source project demos, and opportunities for networking with local and international speakers and attendees.

Whether you're sharing success stories, tackling lessons learned, or exploring the latest tools and technologies, KCD Helsinki is the perfect event to celebrate all things Kubernetes and cloud-native.

KCD Helsinki 2025 was sold out at our capacity of around 300 persons last year at OP's headquarters. This year the event is organized at Aalto University, in a venue with room for 500 persons. 📍 Location: Aalto University, Dipoli Building, Otaniemi (Otakaari 24, 02150 Espoo)

Additional events

Women’s Community Gathering

From 14h in the Metso restaurants we will host a Women's Community Gathering.

A welcoming space to connect, exchange experiences, and strengthen the presence of women in the cloud-native community. The session is designed for open conversations, networking, and building meaningful connections in a supportive environment. The goal of this gathering is to create a dedicated space for Women in Cloud Native fostering peer connection, mentorship, and collaboration, while supporting a more inclusive ecosystem where more women can grow and take on leadership roles. Women in Cloud Native is part of the Merge Forward Working Group; a CNCF Technical Community Group focused on empowering cloud-native contributors from underrepresented groups. While centered on women and underrepresented voices, the gathering is open to everyone; including allies and anyone interested in equality and inclusion in tech.

Workshops

On the day before the conference, May 19, we will have three workshops at Aalto Startup Sauna / Design Factory, space B110 (Puumiehenkuja 5A, 02150 Espoo). Workshops are free for the ticket holders of KCD Helsinki 2026, but requires registration as an add-on when getting your normal KCD ticket. Workshops and timings as follows:

- Running LLMs on top of Kubernetes 9:30 - 12:00

- Lunch 12:00 - 13:00

- Managing Kubernetes clusters declaratively with Cluster API 13:00 - 15:00
