Overview

On 5th of August, 2026 the Kubernetes and Cloud Native community will gather in Melbourne, Australia for a one-day technical conference loaded with exciting talks and plenty of opportunities for growing and networking. What to expect: KCD Melbourne 2026 will be the first and the biggest CNCF event organized in Melbourne.

KCDs are an extraordinary series of events that play a vital role in fostering the global community of engineers, developers, and cloud-native enthusiasts. As the adoption of Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies continues to surge, KCDs have emerged as one of the premier platforms for connecting like-minded professionals who shape the future of digital infrastructure. In almost 5 years, the Cloud Native Computing Foundation supported more than 123 completed KCD events in 47 countries, and 68 cities.

Location Centrally located at 727 Collins Street with the Collins Square Precinct, The Events Centre is easily accessible via vehicle, public transport and integrated walking and cycling routes. Arrive at Collins Square from Collins Street, entering near Tower 1 & 2 and Bar Nacional. Follow the path along upper plaza, veering left past Longshot Coffee and walk towards Tower 5 entrance. You'll find the events centre to your left, just before the Tower 5 revolving doors.
